PIR STANDARD sandwich roof panel
The rigid polyurethane foam core provides excellent thermal insulation for buildings. This comes from the excellent thermal conductivity coefficient, λ = 0.022 (available with PIR-core sandwich panels), unparalleled by any mineral wool or EPS sandwich panel. The overall solution from Balex Metal can be less expensive than mineral wool sandwich panels, by some 40-60%.
The Balex Metal sandwich panels are delivered with superior protective coating which prevents corrosion.
Description
Qingdao Yunda PIR/PUR polyurethane roof sandwich panels combine durable profiled steel facings with a high-performance rigid PIR insulation core. With a thermal conductivity as low as 0.022 W/(m·K), the panel provides excellent thermal insulation while helping reduce heat transfer and overall building energy consumption.
The external steel facing adopts a box-profile design for efficient rainwater drainage and improved roof rigidity, while the inner facing can be supplied with a lined or plain finish. The exposed-lock connection supports fast and accurate installation, creating a reliable insulated roofing system for industrial, commercial, agricultural and prefabricated buildings.
A range of steel thicknesses, insulation-core thicknesses, protective coatings and colors is available. Panel lengths can reach up to 18,000 mm, allowing the roofing system to be customized according to building dimensions, insulation requirements and environmental conditions.

Product Features
The PIR roof sandwich panel integrates roofing, thermal insulation and interior finishing into one prefabricated building component. Its rigid closed-cell insulation core provides efficient thermal performance, while the profiled steel surface improves structural stability and roof drainage. Multiple coating systems provide protection for different indoor and outdoor environments.
