Description
Qingdao Yunda metal-faced photovoltaic roof sandwich panels are designed for industrial and commercial buildings that require both an insulated roofing system and future or immediate photovoltaic installation. The panel consists of profiled steel facings and a lightweight composite insulation core, with PU combined with glass wool or rock wool available for different thermal, structural and fire-performance requirements.
The roof panel uses a 360-degree locking seam connection with prefabricated adhesive at the overlap joint. This structure improves installation accuracy, joint tightness and construction efficiency while helping reduce the risk of rainwater penetration. The reference manufacturer states that installation efficiency can be improved by approximately 50% compared with similar roof panels.
A four-wave corrugated exterior profile increases panel rigidity and can reduce the amount of secondary steel required for roof purlins. The specially formed mushroom-head wave crest provides a reserved interface for non-penetrating photovoltaic clamps, allowing solar modules to be installed without drilling through the roof panel.
Different panel models, thicknesses, effective widths, steel-sheet gauges, coatings and colors are available. The system is suitable for factories, warehouses, logistics centers, commercial facilities, new-energy buildings and prefabricated steel structures.
